I'm your new branding bestie! I'm a bit of a different breed but you will get used to me. haha. All that matters is I'm a huge fan of motivating those around me to become their most authentic self. It's the key to happiness. Be weird. Be not weird. Just be you. I'm bringing some baggage with me to this relationship but don't worry! It is the best kind!
Experience and lessons.
My skills started growing way back in 2008 when I first started in photography. Photographing weddings, families, infants, seniors and all the things in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. I loved it but my heart was pulling me into the beauty community. I started doing makeup in 2013 and fell in love. Seven years later in 2020 ( Don't get me started haha) I decided to create a permanent makeup business. I had no idea this would catapult me into my growth season of life.
Less than a year later, I was attending school to become an esthetician while also building a salon. SLAY Beauty Lounge, located in Winchester, Indiana. We are a team of eight amazing humans who practice what we preach and have built a community of positive change in the industry.
Present day, SLAY Culture Media has been born. If we are being honest, and I always am, I never saw myself in my little Estie lair for the rest of my life. I want to help other beauty professionals find their voice, create brands that are extensions of themselves, so they don't feel burnt out playing a role everyday. I want to help transform the traditional mindset of the beauty industry and what business can look and feel like. Elevating and helping others is my mission. I want you to be your best version. I want to see you reach all your goals.

Alignment is the secret sauce
What makes me unique in the branding world is my approach. When we start a business, we try to be what our "target market" wants. Working in a creative industry gives you the freedom to become one with your brand and attract the market that fuels your passion. So long draining clientele. Our time on this earth is too valuable.
I help you navigate these thought processes and create a clear vision of what your brand embodies. This step is key. This is what makes your soul jump off the page when clients see it. This is what connects them to you between physical interactions.
I'm not a regular photographer
I do things a little differently around here! During a photoshoot with me, I will be showing you your images throughout. This will help you gain confidence, make adjustments to your posing to feel more like yourself and give you the opportunity to flat out delete images you do not feel represent you authentically.
Did I mention we aren't JUST taking photos. I feel that videography adds so much to each session. So much so that it is included with every branding shoot. We are already there in the moment. Why not make the most of it! You can use these video clips for social media or even creating promo videos for your brand.
You will receive retouched and branded images as well as the original images to play around with and be creative. Throw them in canva, make a reel, post them with filters. Do yo thang! These images are your marketing tool. I believe you should have the freedom to love on them as much as you want to!

ONCE I REVIEW YOUR FORM, I WILL REACH OUT TO SET UP AN INITIAL MEETING. WE CAN DO THIS IN PERSON OR ON THE PHONE. DURING THIS MEETING WE WILL DISCUSS YOUR BRANDING GOALS, SET UP A PLAN OF ACTION AND BOOK ANY SESSIONS THAT WE NEED TO.
